Slough

The town of Slough was divided between parts of the parishes of Stoke Poges and Upton-cum-Chalvey, both in Buckinghamshire, lying two miles from Windsor. It is on the main road from London to Bath and was on the Slough branch of the Grand Junction Canal. The soil is gravel.
