Shottesbrooke
The very small village of Shottesbrooke lies six and a half miles west of Maidenhead, in Windsor Forest. It is on the main road from London to Bath. The soil is light gravel. Approximately quarter of the land was arable, an eighth permanent grass and a small amount woodland. See also White Waltham for details.
